Managing our Insiders program isn’t a bad gig. We curate special deals at places our editors vet. We talk to shows and festivals to get tickets we can pass along in giveaways. We hop in the private Facebook group where we connect Insiders with our editors for advice on all things San Diego.
But the happy hours. That’s the best part. Finding great restaurants that have killer cocktails and a mouth watering appetizer menu is easy. Narrowing it down to only one per month. That’s where it gets hard. But our Insiders are counting on us and we never let them down.

You have to visit Inside Out to truly understand where the restaurant gets its name. Join us to dine on Mediterranean inspired appetizers in one of Hillcrest’s most lively locales.

Omni Hotel is keeping Bar Traza under wraps so we’ll be surprised just like you when we arrive to see the brand new space.

Tacos at Puesto

Insiders will be among the first to experience Puesto’s brand new Mission Valley restaurant. Expect gourmet taco creations, plenty of chips and salsa, and those delicious margaritas.

As much as we love introducing Insiders to what’s new, we also love showing off our well-established favorites like PrepKitchen. If you’re still hungry after appetizers, we recommend sticking around for a PK burger.
