The Alliant Educational Foundation distributed $2 million in scholarship support for students in need over the past 12 months. A total of 1,416 scholarships were awarded during the last two semesters, providing financial aid for disadvantaged students striving toward careers of service and leadership. Winners are selected by AIU staff and/or faculty review committees and judged on merit, financial need, area of study, and essays. Since the foundation’s launch in 2015, donations to AEF have helped students across California pursue advanced professional practice degrees in professions. “I didn’t know how I was going to afford the Ph.D. program,” said Bahar Ehfad, clinical Ph.D. scholarship recipient at California School of Professional Psychology at the Los Angeles campus of Alliant University.
