After-School Clay Class

About the Event

In this six-week course, students will explore the fundamentals of design while working hands-on with clay. Students will learn how to transform a lump of clay into a variety of forms, culminating in a final project that showcases their skills.

Ceramics offers a multi-sensory learning experience that supports different learning styles and encourages problem-solving, fine motor development, and confidence through experimentation and revision. Along the way, students will also strengthen collaboration, critical thinking, and an appreciation for creativity, culture, and community.

Parents are welcome to drop off their child for class or stay in our space during the class while students create. Feel free to choose what works best for you!
