Home Electrification Fair

About the Event

A free event open to all homeowners and renters who want to learn more about how to electrify their home. Children are welcome and there will be activities for kids.

Have you been thinking about electrifying your home? Part way through the process? Individuals who have electrified their homes will be available to share their experience and explain what electrifying your home or apartment means in practical terms.

Speak directly with representatives from equipment suppliers, service providers, building contractors, utilities, incentive and community programs, and local city governments. A list of exhibitors may be found at www.electrificationwg.org. They will be prepared to inform you about all the main elements of home electrification and efficiency, including:

* Heat pumps for heating and cooling
* Heat pump water heaters
* Induction stoves
* EV chargers
* Condensing clothes dryers
* Solar power and batteries
* Health and savings benefits
* How to opt for 100% renewable electricity
* How to electrify on a 100 amp panel
* Tax incentives & rebates
* Government & utility funded assistance programs

You’ll be able to take away information for planning and implementing your home electrification project as well as how to obtain federal and state rebates and tax credits.

A seminar on home energy efficiency will be presented from 1:00 to 1:30 pm. Plus a free drawing for prizes will occur at the end of the event.
