OUR ORGANIZATION
Established in 2020, Super Bloom Ultimate is a grassroots, volunteer-run 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in San Diego, CA (EIN: 84-4174573). Our mission is to grow the sport of ultimate Frisbee with diversity, equity, and inclusion in mind. We do this by building community partnerships and providing diverse playing opportunities—including high-level competition—for women, trans & nonbinary athletes of all genders, and girls in the Greater San Diego area. In addition, we host skills clinics, recreational tournaments, youth events, community workshops, and more.

OUR TEAM
San Diego Super Bloom is the professional ultimate team that’s affiliated with our organization. We compete in the Western Ultimate League (WUL) against several other professional teams on the West Coast.

OUR SPORT
With over five million participants in the United States and counting, ultimate Frisbee—or simply “ultimate”—is one of the fastest growing sports in the country. Ultimate is a non-contact, self-officiated team sport with a heavy emphasis on sportsmanship. In 2014, the International Olympic Committee recognized it as an official sport.
