“Supporting our firefighters and lifeguards has truly been the privilege of my career,” says Wendy Moore, executive director of the San Diego Fire-Rescue Foundation.
For more than 15 years, she’s organized fundraisers, engaged donors and first responders, and built strong community partnerships. She’s especially proud of helping fund the new Health & Safety Wellness Center, ensuring first responders have the resources to stay healthy and ready to serve. Moore gains strength from a circle of women who are honest, encouraging, and supportive.
