Proceeds from this event support the research-based programming Girls Inc. of San Diego County provides to under-served girls at no cost. These programs help girls, ages 12-18, overcome gender, economic and social barriers so they see college as attainable, resist peer pressure, and explore professional fields in science and technology. Led by trained professionals, girls learn skills and receive encouragement in a safe, girls-only environment.
