Anseth Page Richards
“Women tend to put themselves last. Their job, their family, their dog—everything else comes first,” says Anseth Page Richards. “I want to help women prioritize taking care of themselves.” Richards is president of the National CHEERS Foundation, an organization she founded in 2012 along with a small group of community leaders. The foundation supports medical research, advocacy groups, and outreach programs aimed at helping women and has developed programming that helps women empower themselves.
But Anseth’s mission to help women doesn’t stop there. She’s also created the Astin Retreat, a gorgeous 20-acre spot inside the Pauma Valley Country Club where guests can prioritize not just their health but their vitality. For those seeking a relaxing space to grab local, sustainable, organic meals, she’s opened—and recently expanded—Cup a CHEER marketplace.
“If you don’t feel well, you can’t celebrate life,” Richards says. “Celebrate life through life’s celebrations—that’s my motto, and through my work, I want to help others do exactly that.”
