Cochaired by Julie Buechler, MD, an alumna of the UC San Diego School of Medicine, and her husband, Ken Buechler, a biochemist and cofounder of Biosite, this event benefits UC San Diego Health’s Sulpizio Cardiovascular Center. Many of San Diego’s well-known philanthropists were among the attendees supporting the life-saving work taking place at the center.
