La Valencia Hotel presented a night of culinary collaboration where guests met and dined with James Beard Award–winning chef Michael Mina. The six-course dinner with wine pairings brought together the area’s top chefs who have been influenced by Mina’s cooking styles. Guests tasted a series of Mina-inspired courses by esteemed California chefs, including James Montejano of La Valencia, Jeffrey Strauss of Pamplemousse Grille, Carl Schroeder of Market Restaurant + Bar, Wade Hageman of Blue Ribbon Artisan Pizzeria, and more. The culinary event benefited Ronald McDonald House Charities of San Diego.
