When Trust pastry chef Jeremy Harville mixed peanut butter Cap’n Crunch with Crunch Berries for his niece and nephew one morning, the result reminded him of peanut butter and jelly—and inspired him to create the Peanut Butter Captain Crunch dessert at Trust. Harville’s elevated take pairs a peanut butter cheesecake with a scoop of Cap’n Crunch ice cream (made by infusing the cereal into a vanilla bean ice cream base) and tops it with a sunburst of baked berry meringues. It’s the new breakfast of champions.
