A Haunting in Venice Cruises with The Gondola Company

This Halloween, The Gondola Company brings back its popular A Haunting in Venice Cruises, running October 26–31 through the quiet canals of the Coronado Cays in San Diego Bay. Inspired by the atmospheric film A Haunting in Venice, these evening cruises blend the relaxation of a traditional Venetian gondola ride with the mystery and charm of Halloween. Guests are escorted by masked, cloaked gondoliers while soft organ music and haunting melodies create a uniquely eerie ambiance.
New for this year, guests can pre-order the dramatic Black Rose Boo-quet ($85) to enhance the mood, and are encouraged to come dressed in costume to fully embrace the theme. Larger groups can book the Haunting Caorlina Cruise, a private gondola seating up to 14 for a floating masquerade experience. Operated by The Gondola Company, this seasonal favorite is one of Southern California’s most unique and atmospheric Halloween events.
