The Boys and Girls Clubs of East County hosted its 48th annual ball, set to the theme of “Building a Better Future.” The event honored Ron and Mary Alice Brady, who recently pledged $3 million for their commitment to build The Brady Family Clubhouse & Teen Center in La Mesa. Attendees enjoyed a cocktail reception, dinner, dancing, live auction, and drawing, which included Lady Gaga tickets, a seven-day trip to Hawaii and a trip to Washington, D.C. Proceeds from the event go toward the general operating funds for the Boys and Girls Clubs.
