Soft Sculpture Workshop with Mely Barragan

About the Event

Join artist, Mely Barragan, for her Soft Sculpture Workshop. Using everyday materials, students will decontextualize their use and create a very personal sculpture. At the end of the workshop, participants will create a collective installation to show their results which will be displayed at VMOTA for 1 week, through July 18th.

Materials for students to bring: A new bed pillow, thread of various colors, sewing needles and scissors.

Time: 1 – 4 pm on two consecutive days: Wednesday, July 10, and Thursday, July 11, 2024
