Valentine’s Day Prix Fixe Dinner at The Vineyard Rose Restaurant

South Coast Winery’s The Vineyard Rose Restaurant offers an elegant Valentine’s Day dining experience with a three-course, Tuscan-inspired menu. Diners can pair their meals with selections from the restaurant’s Wine Spectator award-winning wine list. For Starters, the choices are Burrata with pea pesto and cherry tomato vinaigrette; Winter Valley Salad with greens, beets, pomegranate, ricotta and red wine vinaigrette; Ceviche Tataki composed of ahi, sea bass, citrus, salsa negra and taro chips; or Cioppino Bisque with roasted pomodoro cream. The Entrée selections are Seafood Risotto of butter poached lobster, shrimp, mussels, furikake and smoked bouillabaisse; Arctic Char served with elsinore mushroom congee, legumes, delicata squash and chermoula; Cupid’s Gnocchi of heart-shaped dumplings, wild mushrooms, pea pesto, wilted greens and black truffle bechamel; or Filet Mignon with mushrooms, smoked mashed potatoes, asparagus and South Coast Estate Sauce. The romance continues with a choice of Lovers S’mores composed of warm walnut caramel brownie, mallow brûlée, mole ash sea salt, goji berries and edible flowers; Ube Panna Cotta with seasonal fruit, red velvet sponge and edible flowers; or Artisan Gelato or Sorbet.
