The Impact

The Getting to Zero project was launched in 2012 with the goal of ending the euthanasia of healthy, adoptable cats and dogs at all San Diego Animal Welfare Coalition shelters. San Diego Humane Society and the community of seven shelters reached its goal on July 1, 2015, and seeks to maintain that zero rate.
