19th Annual Tree Lighting and Holiday Farmers Market

Otay Ranch Town Center will host its 19th annual Tree Lighting and Holiday Farmers Market on Tuesday, November 18 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Santa’s grand arrival to light a spectacular Christmas tree with over 17,000 lights will be the centerpiece of a festive evening filled with fun holiday-themed activities, entertainment and magical snowfalls leading up to the lighting at 7 p.m.

New for 2025, guests can also experience a life-size snowglobe photo station where they can snap a souvenir shot inside a wintery, twinkly wonderland.

The three hours before the tree lighting will be packed with entertainment and community performances from local schools, dance groups, musical acts and more. “This all-ages celebration is full of entertainment and merriment opportunities for the whole family — It’s always an evening loaded with fun and festivities and we can’t wait to welcome our neighbors for this year’s event,” said Otay Ranch Town Center General Manager Tim Kilcourse.

In addition to the weekly market’s regular selection of certified farm stands, unique street foods and handicraft items, shoppers and families can enjoy:

Santa will arrive in grand style and light the Christmas tree on Main Street at 7 p.m. sharp!

Otay Ranch Town Center features a spectacular Christmas tree towering nearly 50 feet over Main Street with over 17,000 lights with paparazzi twinkle effects, 1,000+ ornaments, an illuminating color change base with snowflakes and an LED Grand Star Topper.
