About the Event

Pointeworks returns to San Diego for its highly anticipated second season, showcasing a breathtaking evening of ballet that blends tradition with innovation. Under Artistic Director Sophie Williams, the Summer 2025 Season presents three world premieres by visionary choreographers Reka Gyulai, Laine Habony, and DaYoung Jung. The program features the enchanting “Carousel” duet by Christopher Wheeldon, performed with live piano accompaniment. With a dynamic international cast of 12 dancers, this performance promises a rich tapestry of classical and contemporary styles, highlighting creative collaborations in choreography, music, and visual art for an unforgettable experience.
