About the Event

Immerse yourself and family in a joyous celebration of the diversity of arts and cultures in City Heights! In an family-friendly atmosphere, there is something for everyone. Enjoy performances from Rick and Friends, carrying the musical memory of the late, great Chunky Sanchez, Rick’s brother to the Hoover High Mariachi to Karen Youth Dancers. Meet community groups with timely and useful social services information. Join in a drumming session with Drummers Without Borders and in the drum and banner parade to follow. Create a unique paper mask with San Diego Guild of Puppetry. Low riders and their creators provide colorful photo opps.
