19. Character Mashup! A Collage & Paint Workshop

$200/220 + $30 materials fee paid to instructor


Join Lisa Bebi for a collage and paint workshop. Students may use personal or selected images from Lisa’s huge collection of ephemera to create character paintings. The narration could be nonsensical or personal and sweet. 




Materials: Please bring $30 materials fee for Lisa.

Paints: acrylics

Supports: heavy duty paper, canvas board, canvas, raw canvas, etc.—your choice. 

Other: brushes; water can; paper towels or rags; palette; scissors or Xacto knife, alcohol based markers or any experimental tools you wish.

Optional: Bring reference materials, old magazines to cut up.

*Lisa will be bringing all materials needed for the novel techniques that she will introduce—i.e., images, boards, gels, and some paint.
