About the Event

Gator By The Bay Festival, held annually on Mother’s Day weekend at Spanish Landing Park, is San Diego’s ultimate celebration of Louisiana music, food, and culture. Featuring over 100 performances across seven stages, the festival showcases zydeco, Cajun, blues, salsa, swing, and New Orleans jazz. This year’s lineup includes Ozomatli, Sugaray Rayford, and GRAMMY® winners Steve Riley & The Mamou Playboys. Festivalgoers can enjoy 10,000 pounds of fresh Louisiana crawfish, Southern cuisine at the Bourbon Street food court, celebrity chef demonstrations at the Taste of Louisiana Cooking Pavilion, and lively Mardi Gras parades with an expanded route. With dance floors, lessons, and nonstop energy, Gator By The Bay is a family-friendly weekend of music, flavor, and fun.
