Glass Box Hosts Matcha-Themed 9-Course Dinner

On Monday, September 22 at 6pm, celebrate National Girls Night Out Day with an incredible matcha-themed 9-course dinner at Glass Box for $85 per person. The evening features a delicious menu where matcha takes center stage in both flavor and presentation.

The menu was created by Executive Chef and Owner at Glass Box, Ethan Yang. He wanted to create a matcha-inspired menu to celebrate the versatility, depth, and vibrant flavor of matcha, elevating it beyond traditional tea into a fully immersive culinary experience. He wanted to showcase how matcha can be integrated into every course, from cocktails to savory dishes to desserts

The 9-course menu includes: 

– First course: Matcha-Mosa Cocktail 
– Second course: Matcha-Cured Ora King Salmon Tartare + Matcha-Jito Cocktail
– Third course: Hokkaido Scallop Nigiri
– Fourth course: Bluefin Tuna Belly Nigiri (Otoro)
– Fifth course: Matcha Dashi Broth Shot
– Sixth course: Wagyu & Garlic Matcha Aioli Temaki + Matcha Old Fashioned
– Seventh course: Charred Miso Black Cod Nigiri
– Eighth course: Matcha Soba with Uni & Smoked Dashi Butter
– Ninth course: Matcha White Chocolate Mousse + Matchatini Shot
