About the Event

Join us for our annual celebration of wetlands conservation! We invite you to learn more about the history of the marsh, its cultural significance, and the value of marshes in our community. This event is a unique opportunity to explore UC San Diego’s Kendall-Frost Marsh Reserve through fun activities like guided kayak tours, marsh clean-up, building Kumeyaay tule boats, and science talks from local researchers. This event is free and family-friendly, but please note that no dogs are allowed at the reserve.

This event is co-hosted by UC San Diego Natural Reserve System and San Diego Bird Alliance, in partnership with the Tijuana River National Estuarine Research Reserve and the City of San Diego.
