About the Event

Debbie and Mike’s musical story began in 1989 with a single song, “Hit Me with Your Best Shot,” sparking a partnership that’s lasted decades. They officially launched their cover band, Bottomline, on New Year’s Eve 1990, performing at top San Diego venues like The Belly Up Tavern, Harrah’s Rincon, and Viejas Casino. The duo’s chemistry on stage, honed over years of packed club rotations, became the foundation for their musical success.

With Debbie’s soulful knack for the blues and a love for Pat Benatar and Neil Giraldo’s music, they added hits like “All Fired Up” to Bottomline’s repertoire, paving the way for their tribute band, We Belong. Inspired after attending a Pat and Neil concert in 2015, the pair channeled their own connection and passion into celebrating the iconic duo. Together, Debbie and Mike continue to captivate audiences, blending timeless classics with their genuine love for music and each other.
