New Year’s Eve Dinner at The Vineyard Rose Restaurant

In the Tuscan-inspired ambiance of The Vineyard Rose, South Coast Winery Resort & Spa will delight guests with a seasonal three-course prix fixe holiday dinner crafted by the resort’s culinary team. Starters include a choice of Winter Valley Salad with greens, pomegranate, house ricotta and estate red wine vinaigrette; Burrata with pea pesto and baguette; Mussels with shrimp, chorizo, wine and chef’s garden focaccia; or Hummus with seasonal crudites. Second course entrees offer either Braised Lamb Shank with polenta, roasted carrots, cipollini onions, mint gremolata and South Coast Winery Estate sauce; Filet accompanied by smoked mashed potatoes, asparagus and South Coast Winery Estate sauce; Halibut with wild mushroom risotto, legumes and delicata squash; or Vegetable Bolognese served with pappardelle, stewed vegetables, broccolini pistou, roasted tomato and Parmigiano Reggiano. Celebratory desserts include a choice of Carrot Sponge Cake with gooseberries, ginger snaps, pineapple tuille and spiced raisin compote; S’mores with goji berries, mallow brûlée and warm caramel nut brownie; or Crème Brûlée served with seasonal fruit. Servers will happily recommend South Coast Winery award-winning selections to pair with this scrumptious dinner.
