About the Event

Rock & Roll Hall of Fame legends Lynyrd Skynyrd will kick off the Surfer’s Point LIVE concert series at the Del Mar Arena at the Del Mar Fairgrounds on Thursday, September 24. Fans can look forward to a night of Southern rock anthems, including “Sweet Home Alabama” and “Free Bird,” in a coastal concert setting near the Pacific.

More than half a century after releasing their critically acclaimed debut album, Lynyrd Skynyrd continues to resonate with a multigenerational fan base. The band carries its music forward while celebrating the artists who helped build its enduring legacy.

Surfer’s Point LIVE is a coastal pop-up concert series bringing top-tier artists to a city near you. Each concert features a different headliner, elevated food and drink offerings, and a sunset-drenched atmosphere near the coast.
