TELLABRATION!™: A Worldwide Storytelling Celebration

Join Storytellers of San Diego for their annual Tellabration!™ event on November 15, ’25, from 2 pm to 4 pm. This live event will feature a diverse group of professional storytellers, including Marilyn McPhie, Jim Dieckmann, The Patchwork Players Story Theatre (Patti Christensen and James Nelson-Lucas), Emily Stamets, JT Moring, Fred Laskowski, Linda Brown, and Aunt Li-Anne.

This year’s theme, “Under the Surface,” invites both storytellers and the audience to explore stories that delve deeper than appearances. The program will include a range of folkloric, personal, and literary genres, with various styles, including musical accompaniment, all presented in a captivating, no-notes style.

The event will be held at Bethany Lutheran Church, 2051 Sunset Cliffs Boulevard, Ocean Beach, San Diego. Admission is free for ages twelve and up. Limited free parking is available on-site, with additional parking across the alley in a small church lot.

Tellabration!™ is an annual, worldwide storytelling event that celebrates the art of oral tradition, bringing together storytellers and listeners to promote connection, peace, friendship, and understanding through stories.
