Interview with Paulette Jiles as part of the 29th Annual Writer’s Symposium by the Sea, Writing That Inspires in partnership with the PLNU Honors Program. Interview to be conducted by Ben Cater, Director of the PLNU Honors Program.

Paulette Jiles is a novelist, poet, and memoirist. Her newest book “Chenneville” was published in September 2023. She is known for her books “Enemy Women,” “Stormy Weather,” “The Color of Lightning,” “Lighthouse Island,” and “News of the World,” which was a finalist for the 2016 National Book Award.

Writer’s Symposium by the Sea is an annual event that brings interviews with innovative creators, life stories, examples of great writing, and evocative conversation to Point Loma Nazarene University that inspire readers and writers alike.
