After an extensive $2.5-million remodel, The Grill at The Lodge at Torrey Pines debuted its makeover last month. To christen its patio expansion, the restaurant is celebrating with The Art of Baja, a five-course dinner on July 15 to showcase the cuisine of Valle de Guadalupe.
The alfresco dinner, prepared by The Lodge’s Executive Chef Jeff Jackson (A.R. Valentien) and Michelin-starred chef Drew Deckman, will feature traditional Baja dishes cooked on the outdoor rotisserie. Come hungry—and thirsty. Valle wine connoisseur Hugo D’Acosta will be on hand with special reds and whites, while Wendlandt Brewery will be pouring craft beer. It’s an authentic trip to Mexico without ever crossing the border.
