Chef Brian Malarkey and GM Chris Puffer of Searsucker and Herringbone acclaim are back with Herb & Wood. The 12,000-square-foot project—in a Little Italy warehouse formerly home to art emporium Mixture—has four distinct social spaces, including an entry café, a “lavender lounge,” a main dining room, and a huge back patio.
The menu from Malarkey and Chef de Cuisine Shane McIntyre (ex-Searsucker) focuses on wood-roasted veggie and meat plates. They’ll also make their own bread and pizza dough daily, and age meats on the premises. Sharing a wall with Juniper and Ivy, H&W cements Little Italy as one of the hottest dining neighborhoods in America.
