The last thing Swiss speed skier and cyclist Philippe May expected on his journey to a bicycle race in San Diego was a heart problem. He ended up at Scripps Clinic where he was diagnosed with a potentially fatal condition and implanted with a cardiac defibrillator. But this wasn’t any cardiac defibrillator.
