San Diego’s biggest food and wine festival is back this November 8-13! The 18th annual San Diego Bay Wine & Food Festival presented by Sub-Zero, Wolf, and Cove brings together top chefs, wineries, breweries and beyond to the iconic city of San Diego for an extraordinary food and wine experience.
Over the course of six flavor-packed days, the Festival welcomes food and beverage enthusiasts from near and far to experience bites and sips curated by internationally celebrated chefs, legendary winemakers, mixologists, award-winning distillers, sommeliers, brew-masters, artisans and more.

The San Diego Bay Wine & Food Festival kicks off with specialty dinner experiences hosted at renowned (and totally Intagrammable) San Diego eateries, featuring distinguished chefs and sip-worthy beverage pairings. While the weekend events include a walk-around wine tasting known as The Grand Decant, the award-winning Grand Tasting, and new to this year’s lineup the Grand Fiesta – a vibrant celebration of San Diego’s cross-border connection to Latin America featuring cuisine, wine, beer, spirits, art, and music.

The impressive culinary talents of Two-Starred Michelin Chef Suzette Gresham of Acquerello in San Francisco, Bernard Guillas, and Aron Schwartz are teaming up with their protégés to collaborate on a menu of mouthwatering flavors paired with Louis Latour wines in honor of the late Louis-Frabrice Latour.
Attendees of the Baja Culinary Expedition will embark on a once-in-a-lifetime excursion to the Valle de Guadalupe for a cross-border exploration of some of the most prestigious wineries, restaurants and culinary experiences found in Baja California.
This epic night joined by celebrated chef Carl Schroeder features world-renowned chef and restaurateur Michael Mina alongside chef James Montejeno and and Market’s Wine Director and General Manager Lisa Redwine.
Hosted by Bad Boyz of Culinary and inspired by the spirit of Maker’s Mark 46, The Secret Family Recipe menu holds a deeply-rooted connection to family recipes, including the history and culture of each chef, with cocktail pairings that demonstrate the connection between the chef and the history of Maker’s Mark Bourbon Whiskey.

Growing up, Laika Nur, MD, Scripps Clinic sports medicine specialist, loved watching beach volleyball when the Association of Volleyball Professionals tour came to her hometown of Chicago. A talented volleyball player herself, she remembers sitting in the stands all day, and once, even got a couple autographs. Years later, Dr. Nur was attending a professional event focused on women’s sports, and the discussion turned to a new professional women’s volleyball league. The general manager and coaching staff for San Diego’s team, the Mojo, happened to be in attendance, and Dr. Nur took the opportunity to ask them if they needed a team doctor. Your feet and ankles probably aren’t something you give much thought to—until something goes wrong. Orthopedic surgeons at Scripps Clinic are on the leading edge of foot and ankle reconstruction, treating patients with sports injuries, deformities, traumatic injuries and other conditions. Mai Vue was just 34 weeks pregnant when she delivered her baby. Her pregnancy had been complicated, and she’d had a recent second trimester pregnancy loss, which led to her receiving specialized care from Sean Daneshmand, MD, a Scripps Clinic perinatologist who oversees high-risk pregnancies. Dr. Daneshmand and his team took care of Mai during her pregnancy, through the birth of her healthy baby girl and beyond. Mai was part of a program Scripps launched to provide support to new moms in the weeks and months after delivery. The postpartum program, known as Scripps Health’s Fourth Trimester Continuum of Care, provides care for women with high-risk pregnancies to optimize their health after childbirth and reduce the risk of complications in future pregnancies.
