Founded by Dr. Shannon Franklin, Kat Grassetti, LCSW, Dr. Max Doshay, Nicole Simpson, Molly Maddocks, and TJ Woodward, Element Q is the region’s premier LGBTQIA+ mental health treatment center, created by and for the community it serves.
At Element Q, every therapist and case manager is a member of the LGBTQIA+ community, bringing both lived experience and advanced clinical expertise to their work. The result: care that’s deeply compassionate, individualized, and identity-affirming.
Through a blend of talk therapy, EMDR, and holistic modalities such as Traditional Chinese Medicine, functional neurology, hypnosis, sound healing, and trauma-informed yoga, Element Q supports clients in addressing trauma and mental health challenges.
