The Tony Award–winning tour de force chronicles the life story of singer-songwriter Carole King, from her teenage years, when she first started toying with lyrics that gave us the hit song “Will You Love Me Tomorrow” with her husband and songwriting partner Gerry Goffin, to the making of Grammy Award–winning melodies like “You’ve Got a Friend,” “Tapestry,” and “It’s Too Late” that today comprise the—you guessed it—Grammy Award–winning musical coming to the Civic Theatre stage.
