San Diego’s best-dressed fashion devotees flocked to Fashion Valley mall to celebrate the grand opening of Prada’s new boutique. Guests sipped on Champagne and martinis as they browsed the Italian designer’s spring line and explored the store. The space, designed by Italian aarchitect Roberto Baciocchi, features Prada’s signature details like marble flooring and velvet sofas. Partial sales proceeds from the evening, and through March 17, benefitted Voices for Children, a local nonprofit that serves foster children in San Diego.
