Hearts of Nursing Fountain
The timing couldn’t be better for San Diego Magazine to launch Hearts of Nursing and shine the spotlight on the unsung heroes of nursing. On September 24, the local healthcare community will gather on the rooftop of The Westgate Hotel to honor candidates nominated in 5 categories: Rising Star, Lifetime Achievement, Direct Care and Leadership, and Nurse of the Year.
The celebration will begin with a cocktail hour with hosted bites and beverages and live entertainment. Finalists, friends and families can mingle, network, toast, and lounge. Winners will be revealed during the evening’s awards ceremony.
In its inaugural year, Hearts of Nursing is a peer-based awards program that honors nursing professionals for their compassion, optimism, and unwavering devotion to human life and their profession. Candidates were nominated in February and the list of finalists will be announced in the September issue of San Diego Magazine.
Tickets are $50 for early-bird entry (until August 1, 2020) and $60 after. Tickets are limited and will sell out.
