Things to Do: March 5-10

Flogging Molly

March 1:

Spring is in the air and Carlsbad is in bloom at the Flower Fields, open now through May.

March 2:

Go fly a kite with family-friendly Obecians at the OB Kite Festival.

Drink a toast to Temecula wine country at the two-day World of Wine Winter Barrel Tasting.

March 3:

Award-winning wines from January’s competition are up for tasting at the Taste of Winemaker Challenge at 57 Degrees.

March 30:

If you’re not up for the challenge of the hard-core Ironman 70.3 California Oceanside, not to worry; the race is sold out. But you can still admire the athleticism as a spectator.

March 31:

Happy Easter, San Diego! Egg hunts and champagne brunches abound from Chula Vista to Carlsbad and everywhere in between.
