More than 350 guests attended the Social Service Auxiliary’s 31st annual Wine & Roses Charity Wine Tasting event, presented in combination with the San Diego International Wine Competition. Attendees spent the afternoon sipping award-winning wines and sampling food from more than 20 of San Diego’s best restaurants. Wineries were awarded medals at the April competition and donated a case of their winning wine to Wine & Roses. All food and beverages were donated, with $75,000 in event proceeds benefiting Camp Oliver, a youth summer camp in Descanso, California.
