What do a strappy stiletto and a sauvignon blanc have in common? What pinot would you pair with platform pumps? These queries and more will be answered when we raise our glasses at the fifth annual Wine Women & Shoes fundraiser benefiting Voices for Children.

Wine, Women & Shoes Puts Its Best Foot Forward
Janie Koike
Join Voices for Children for an afternoon garden party with fashion, food, and fine wine to benefit Voices for Children and foster children in San Diego County. Taking place at the seaside estate of co-chair Patricia Brutten, guests will enjoy a fashion show, premium wines, delectable bites, and shop the fashion marketplace. Gather up the girlfriends for the fashion event of the season!
The Canfield-Wright estate in Del Mar will be the incomparable setting for the event. Named after its first owner, oil tycoon Charles Canfield, the home sits on a Del Mar hillside overlooking the Pacific Ocean. The gardens, nearly an acre in size, include grassy lawns and a fruit orchard. It will be an extraordinary setting for Wine Women & Shoes; this will be the first major event hosted there by the property’s newest owners, Patty and Marc Brutten.
