About the Event

To celebrate one year on the Del Mar coast, neighborhood hangout Culinary Dropout is throwing a birthday bash with a stacked lineup of local surfers, skateboarders, music sets, and community legends on Thursday, April 30. The party features donations benefiting San Diego Fire-Rescue Foundation, a meet-up with 8-year-old surfer Uriah McDonald, skateboard giveaways with Sector 9, signings by pro skaters, and more.

Since opening at Del Mar Highlands Town Center last April, Culinary Dropout has made waves in the community, becoming a go-to for locals and visitors alike thanks to its elevated comfort food, inventive craft cocktails, and high-energy atmosphere. For its first birthday, the restaurant is throwing a party that’s all about the locals who have made Del Mar feel like home.
