On Tuesday, September 27, Junior Achievement of San Diego County (JA) hosted the 28th Business Hall of Fame at Fairmont Grand Del Mar. Sponsored by Jack in the Box Foundation, the inspiring event recognized outstanding business and philanthropic leaders. The highlight of the evening was the induction of five prominent members of the business community into Junior Achievement’s Business Hall of Fame as Lifetime Laureates. This year’s Laureates are: Laurie and Carlee McGrath; Dan Spinazzola, Diversified Restaurant Systems Inc.; and Bob Taylor and Kurt Listug, Taylor Guitars.
Junior Achievement is proud to honor these leaders for their excellence in business, courageous thinking, and inspiring leadership.
The gala raised over $365,000 toward their $3.8-million budget to support 75,000 students this year. Junior Achievement prepares students for the real world by teaching them how to get a job, start a business, and manage their money.
