Sycuan honored 30 local charities at their ninth annual Gift Giving Ceremony, with donations totaling more than $75,000. About 70 people came out to Sycuan Casino for the event, where members of Sycuan’s tribal council, casino executive management team, and casino directors annually select a charity to support during the holiday season. Some of this year’s beneficiaries include Amber’s Book Club, the Council of American Indian Organizations, Mama’s Kitchen, Friends of Cats, and the Surfrider Foundation.
