‘Chelsea’s Light’ Documentary Screening Tonight
What: Chelsea’s Light: A Brother’s Journey, a 30-minute documentary, followed by a Q & A with the filmmakers
When: Screening September 23 at 7 p.m., followed by an after-party and charity event at 8:30 p.m.
Where: Reading Cinema, Theater 1, 701 Fifth Avenue, Gaslamp; after-party on the rooftop of the Andaz Hotel, 600 F Street, Gaslamp
Why: The goal of the film is to pass versions of Chelsea’s Law in all 50 states. The 30-minute documentary was directed by two-time Emmy Award-winner Bruce Caulk and written by Tyler King, who served as producer on the film with parents Kelly & Brent King.
