Rendezvous in the Zoo

About 850 people attended the Zoo’s annual black-tie event, which included a three-course dinner, silent auction, live music from Wayne Foster Entertainment, and an appearance by conservationist Joan Embery and some of her animals. Honorary chairs Audrey S. Geisel and Dragon and Don Sherman agreed to match all funds raised three-to-one. The nearly $1.9 million will benefit the Zoo’s new Madagascar habitat, featuring lemurs and fossas.
