Acclaimed Novelist Eric Puchner Presents Dream State

About the Event

Join the Library Shop SD at the Mission Hills-Hillcrest/Knox Library to hear from author Eric Puchner as he presents his latest novel, Dream State— NOW AN OPRAH’S BOOK CLUB PICK!

Set against the backdrop of a warming climate and accelerating world, Dream State follows Cece, a Montana woman in the midst of planning her wedding to Charlie, as she finds herself at a crossroads. Navigating emerging and complex feelings for Garrett, Charlie’s troubled best friend, Cece faces a choice that will forever alter three lives.

Following the entangled depths of these friendships and affection across decades, Dream State is an ambitious and intimate exploration of what it means to live with both the mistakes we make and those handed down to us.

This is a free book presentation followed by a signing with the author. Seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis at the Mission Hills Branch Library. To get a copy of Dream State from the Library Shop SD and guarantee your copy of the book will be available at the signing, please order as early as possible. Copies can optionally be picked up at the Library Shop after ticket purchase, if you want to get reading immediately. On the event date, March 26th, books will only be available for pickup at the event doors. Proceeds from all book purchases support the San Diego Public Library System.

Seating will open to the public at 6:30pm on the day of the event, and the talk begins at 7pm.
