Grammy-Nominated Sal Cracchiolo Joins Ron Kobayashi in the Bayside Lounge to Kick off LDW

About the Event

Kick off Labor Day Weekend in style with live music at Bayside in Newport Beach! Joining Orange County’s jazz pianist extraordinaire, Ron Kobayashi, will be Grammy Nominated musician, Sal Cracchiolo of Tower of Power, who has also played with acts like Poncho Sanchez, Tito Puente, Celia Cruz, Dizzy Gillespie, Tom Jones, Brian Setzer, Michael Bolton and Harry Connick Jr., and scores of other incredible musicians. He also has performed with his own California Arts Council-sponsored sextet, featuring his wife, Melanie Jackson, on vocals. In 2001, their CD, “Fly”, was nominated for a Latin Grammy. Kobayashi and Cracchiolo will play 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. Friday, August 30 in Bayside Restaurant’s piano lounge. The music will be perfectly paired with Bayside’s exquisite dinner and exclusive bar menu, with an award-winning wine list and fabulous cocktails to match.
