Takae Ohnishi and Marianne Pfau: Live in Concert

About the Event

Join us for an enchanting night with the Marianne Pfau on oboe and Takae Ohnishi on harpsichord.
Takae Ohnishi graduated from the Toho Gakuen School of Music in Tokyo and has performed extensively in major cities in Japan and the U.S. as a soloist, chamber musician, and continuo player. Ohnishi holds a Master of Music degree from the New England Conservatory of Music and is completing a Doctor of Musical Arts degree at Stony Brook University. She currently teaches at UCSD.
Dr. Marianne Richert Pfau, retired in 2022 after more than 30 years as Professor of Music History at USD. She shares her time between San Diego and Hamburg, Germany, and performs baroque oboe and recorder on both sides of the Atlantic. At USD, she continues to direct her concert series, Angelus Sacred Early Music, with the next concert coming up on March 1st, 2025.
