Yoga & Sound Therapy for Cancer Patients & Caregivers

About the Event

A free class hosted by Scripps Cancer Center June 21 will combine yoga and sound therapy in a 60-minute experience focused on relaxation and rejuvenation. The event will take place from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Scripps Encinitas Rehabilitation Services, at 1092 N. El Camino Real, Encinitas 92024.

This class is geared toward cancer patients and their caregivers. Participants can choose to rest comfortably or gently move through simple stretches while receiving the healing benefits of sound from a variety of instruments: singing bowls, chimes, drums and gongs. Cushioned mats and bolster cushions are available for use.

Participants are encouraged to bring a yoga blanket or light covering. Space is limited for the June 21 event, please call in advance to register at 858-554-3488.
