Talk about an off-the-wall practice. Yoga80 owners Robert Pastor and Reegan Lessie discovered yoga with ropes during an Iyengar workshop and were “immediately hooked to the benefits.” They drove to Laguna Beach every week for a year to study the rope wall method. Now they’ve brought it to their studios in Carlsbad and Sorrento Valley. Not only do ropes help with alignment, they can help you go deeper into poses and hold them longer. Lessie and Pastor believe yoga should be accessible to everyone, and offer classes for all levels, as well as ones specific for families and adults with autism, or relaxation-based, candlelit classes. New to yoga? They’ll show you the ropes. 6120 Paseo Del Norte, Carlsbad; 10999 Sorrento Valley Road, San Diego
