Two New Nurseries Bring High-Style Greenery to San Diego

Point Loma and University Heights are seeing green thanks to Eden plant boutique

Branching out after more than a decade of business, North Park Nursery has debuted two new houseplant boutiques by the name of Eden. The University Heights location, shown here and opened in November, is a corridor of fashionable foliage. Fiddle leaf figs, snake plants, and calatheas adorn the cozy shop, which also shelves jewelry, embroidered bags, macramé, and decorative pots and planters. There’s even a potting station.

The roomier Point Loma counterpart put down roots in February and carries the same catalogue of greenery and giftables, but also offers “interiorscaping” services—essentially at-home styling and upkeep for your houseplants. Consultations are free and, thanks to an extended care plan, green thumbs are optional.
